Pharaoh and Queen, Tutankhamun & Ankhesenamun

During Tutankhamun s reign was a queen who was no older than the pharaoh himself. She was the daughter of Akhenaten and Queen Nefertiti; her name was Ankhesenamun. She was married to her brother Tutankhamun, estimated at the age of thirteen.

Although she was married to Tutankhamun, she had another husband before him. She was married for a short period to Smenkhare. It s estimated her marriage was only one to three years. Her tomb has never been found or any evidence of her mummy.

Each Egyptian Statue is beautifully finished in bright gold, blues, greens and reds, all colours associated with Egyptian imagery.
