Resin Buddha on Lion.

Lion sculptures were placed at the gateways to the Amaravati Stupa. Lions represented power and strength and were meant to ward off evil spirits and protect the Stupa.

Buddha is finished in a burnished verdigris metallic green and gold. Gold is bright and textured, like gold leaf.

Item comes packaged individually in its own box.
